Grayscale Marketing Lights Up Downtown Nashville's July 4th at The 505

Nashville, TN - Grayscale Marketing delivered a July 4th high-rise illumination in the heart of Nashville’s skyline during the city’s record-setting Independence Day celebration.

On July 4th, the newest addition to the Nashville skyline, the 505 tower, was illuminated red, white and blue in coordination with the city’s annual "Let Freedom Sing!" event. The elegant, 45-story 505 residential skyscraper, located on the corner of 5th and Church, flooded the city’s skyscape with a patriotic theme to celebrate America’s independence.

The curved-façade glass tower, composed of luxury penthouses and residential units, is woven into the fabric of the city’s vibrant downtown. The 505 tower, the tallest residential building in Tennessee, rises 543 feet tall and featured color projections as well as a custom gobo projected onto the building’s façade. The incredible optics the illumination hardware used, meant it illuminated the whole building with ease. A total of 229,000 total lumens were projected from the towers 7th floor amenity deck to the very top of the building.

When asked, Tim Gray, Grayscale Marketing CEO, stated, “The new layout of the city’s event spread attendees over a larger area, allowing a wider viewing area of the skyline, new building, firework display and gave more access to the city’s music events.”

“This ambitious project was a perfect addition to the evening events, while also helping to bring the new building to life,” Gray added
