NASHVILLE, TN June 19th, 2019 - Grayscale Marketing, an advertising, public relations, publicity, and marketing firm based in Nashville, Tenn., launched its inaugural Grayscale Scholarship Program.
The scholarship program provides recipients with a $1,000 scholarship, a semester internship at the marketing firm, and a mentorship from the agency's owner.
Alder Cole, a Senior at Middle Tennesse State University was awarded the agency's first grant recently at MTSU's Student Awards Ceremony. Mr. Cole is currently gaining his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Media and Entertainment's Department of Recording Industry.
Tim Gray, Grayscale Marketing CEO, stated "I've witnessed the impact that personal and monetary investment has on young people entering Nashville's entertainment job market. I felt it was time for us to establish this scholarship program in order to help the next generation of industry professionals gain a hand up."
Gray added "I've been blessed to be able to do what I love every single day. That doesn't just happen by accident. It took dedication and perseverance, of course, along with opportunities given and guidance provided by incredible men and women that took time from their lives to teach. I would not be where I am today without them. This (scholarship, internship, and mentorship) program was born from gratitude and will serve as a celebration of thanks to the selfless individuals that acted as mentors along my journey. The hope is that it allows me an opportunity to leave a lasting impact on others in the same positive ways that have been done for me."
