NASHVILLE-BASED MARKETING FIRM CONTINUES GROWTH AND EXPANSION
NASHVILLE, June 29th, 2021 - Grayscale Marketing, an industry leader in marketing and communication services based in Nashville, Tenn., has announced a new round of hirings.
Jason Zinser has joined Grayscale Marketing as the Communications & Marketing Director. Zinser is a seasoned communications & marketing leader who comes to Grayscale having worked with a variety of diverse brands and organizations across the sports, entertainment, and professional service industries including Zaxbys, NASCAR, Coca Cola, NFL’s Salute to Service, Delta Country Jam Music Festival, Tennessee Titans (NFL), Nashville Predators, Milestone Racing, Working Triathlete, Nashville Sounds, NASHVILLE SC, Nashville Sports Council, GenZ Analytics, and The Music City Bowl.
Zinser previously served as founder of ZPS Consulting, a marketing and communications consultancy, focused on business development and aligning marketing, branding, creative, and communications with organizational goals. He brings a demonstrated ability to develop, grow and reposition brands through work focused on the delivery of key metrics, managing relationships, and the nurturing and alignment of talented teams who consistently produce relevant, imaginative, strategic work. Kate Edge has joined Grayscale Marketing as the Senior Media Buyer where she will oversee the negotiation and purchasing of traditional media across the continent and while overseeing the development of the agency’s international footprint. Since joining the team in April, Edge has made immediate contributions implementing traditional media strategy and execution across 50 states and two countries for events featuring superstars Bon Jovi, Florida Georgia Line, Nelly, Chase Rice and more. Prior to joining the team at Grayscale, Edge served for 8+ years at Outback Presents, finding success working with a variety of national touring acts such as Jim Gaffigan, the Impractical Jokers, and Rodney Carrington.
In addition to her marketing managerial duties, Edge also worked closely with Outback to promote annual local events within the Nashville community including Charlie Daniels Volunteer Jam and the Nashville Comedy Festival. Lallie Maddox has joined Grayscale Marketing as the Associate Media Buyer where she will support the Sr. Media Buyer, Kate Edge, where she will be responsible for the research, development, execution, analysis, and reporting of the agency’s media placement across the globe. Prior to joining Grayscale, Maddox began her career in 2018 at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Los Angeles working in Music Marketing. Maddox then advanced her career moving to Nashville working in Music Touring under Steve Kaul in the rock department before transitioning to the Music Brand Partnerships division working under CAA’s Executive, Music Brand Partnerships Marieke Bianchi. In her role she assisted in creating strategic partnerships and activations on behalf of the CAA Music Roster.
While at CAA, Maddox served as a Task Force leader and planned community events for the company in addition to CAA's Young Nashville Party that raised over $70,000 for CISTN. Maddox added about the transition “When the pandemic hit, I did not know what my future in the music industry looked like or if there even would be one. I am thrilled to join the Grayscale Team and have the opportunity to further my knowledge and skill set in music marketing."
Maddox received dual degrees in Advertising and Psychology in addition to a Music Business Certificate from The University of Georgia. She is passionate about uniting people through live music and giving back to the community. Currently, Maddox serves on the SOLID Community Outreach Committee. Kat Ruefenacht has joined Grayscale Marketing as the Video & Graphic Designer. Ruefenacht is an experienced creative professional from Chattanooga, Tennessee, with a degree in Fine Arts with a focus in animation. Ruefenacht has worked with local businesses such as IV and GoWest Creative in addition to Country Music Television (CMT) where she contributed creatively on the CMT Music Awards and Artist of the Year Awards show.
