After reading the chapter, answer the following questions:

1. Why did Stan Humphries become the lead quarterback despite his size?

2. Define intuition.

3. How does the amount of time a leader has to make a decision relate to the Law of Intuition?

4. In your profession or area of service, how has leadership intuition accelerated the success of one organization over another?

Rate your own leadership by placing the number 1, 2, or 3 next to each of the following statements: 1=Never 2=Sometimes 3=Always

20-39-This is an area of weakness in your leadership. Until you grow in this area, your leadership effectiveness will be negatively impacted.

3. Do you agree with the author that intuition is not only natural but can also be developed? Explain.

4. Describe a situation in which leadership affected your organization.

5. At which level of leadership intuition are you? How has your intuition affected your performance and leadership ability?

6. Which presents the biggest challenge for you: accurately reading your situations, trends, your resources, other people, or yourself? How can you improve your intuition in this area?

7. What are some resources that you will invest in to improve your leadership intuition?
