Are you a storyteller? Are you a Graphic Artist & Video Design guru with experience capturing, creating, and editing meaningful content? Do you love music and branding? Do you thrive in a fast-paced exciting environment?

As our Video & Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating digital graphic design and video content for social media, advertising, print, and more. Do you seek out or create amazing multimedia, animation, photography, memes, and gifs? Then this position might be for you. 

This position works closely with the Account Executive, Ad team, and Creative Director and will interface closely with members of the copywriting & social media managers. 

About the Position: 

You’re creative, you love thinking about new and fun ways to make content, you’re naturally keeping a pulse on social media content trends, and you’re a talented designer and creator with lots of enthusiasm and great communication skills. You have an understanding of the tools and resources necessary to make great social content. You value and understand the importance of error-free content, speed, creating content for specific social platforms, and value understanding the performance of your creative once it’s distributed.

You are a graphic designer, video editor, Instagram story lover, and #foryourpage admirer. You are not just on the internet; you are creating the stuff the internet wants to see. Whether that’s a viral TikTok video or the latest Twitter meme, you are a passionate storyteller.

 

The Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must be a master of Photoshop, After Effects, and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite

  • 3-5 years experience in creative production, advertising, or design agency

  • Understand photography, typography, design, and best practices in creating for social media platforms

  • Values the importance of good copy and strategy as part of effective design for social

  • Has a point of view on the best strategy for stories, videos, filters, and reels on Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, and more. 

  • Be able to execute designs and projects quickly across multiple accounts, both personal and business

  • Proactively be able to manage their time, be self-sufficient, solution orientated, and is a self-starter

  • Working with a wide range and quality of video and static imagery - from a collection of photography to short video clips - and turning that content into assets built for individual platforms and audiences.

  • Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Expert in Photoshop

  • Expert in After Effects

  • Expert in Illustrator

  • Working knowledge of 3D packages such as Cinema 4D is a plus

  • Strong typography skills

  • Always on the lookout for great design, photography, culture, and campaign references

  • An eye for matching images to words

  • Deep familiarity with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media channels

  • Proficiency in Google Suite (email, docs, drive, slides)

  • Able to implement feedback with ease and promptly

  • Understanding all the different social and digital specs and exporting best practices

  • Self-starter, able to work in a team

  • Forensic attention to detail

  • An eye for innovation – identifying emerging platforms and trends in the digital space

Soft Skills:​​

  • Highly accountable to your team and clients, displays a tough-minded approach to getting work completed, and should be curious to grow in your craft

  • Outstanding professional presentation, communication, and delivery.

  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet concurrent deadlines.

  • The ability to remain cool under pressure 

  • Wrangling and rolling with your teammates to service rapid turnaround times, capture trending moments, interpreting and acting on quantitative and qualitative results, all while keeping a clear, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude towards content creation.
