With a remarkable 19-year history that spans entrepreneurship, philanthropy, public speaking, and world travel, Tim Gray has built an impressive legacy. His experience includes executive board roles for charities, higher education thought leadership, marketing, and advertising across all 50 states and 47 countries.

Currently, Tim is the CEO of the award-winning Grayscale Marketing, a fully integrated agency specializing in entertainment PR, advertising, and marketing. He also serves as the Vice President of Marketing for the esteemed Romeo Entertainment Group and hosts the web series and podcast "The Golden Rules...of life and the music business," which is in the process of becoming a book series.

Throughout his illustrious music industry career, Tim has collaborated with renowned brands, artists, and events such as Virgin Hotels, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Sony Music Nashville, Pilgrimage Music Festival, Minor League Baseball, Anheuser Busch, Hangout Music Festival, Rolls Royce, and many more. He has had the honor of working with top artists and their teams, including Garth Brooks, Metallica, Justin Bieber, One Direction, The Killers, The Chainsmokers, Kendrick Lamar, and numerous others.

In July 2021, Grayscale Marketing celebrated a significant milestone of selling over one million tickets for their event clients. The company's success continues to grow, with an additional 620,000 tickets sold, bringing them close to the two-million-ticket mark.

Tim's dedication to philanthropy is equally impressive. He serves on the Board of Directors for three Nashville-based non-profit organizations and actively participates in twelve marketing and entertainment organizations. He focuses on giving back to the Nashville community and leveraging his resources and influence to create a positive societal impact.

In 2014, Tim co-founded a 501c3 organization supporting entrepreneurs in the music industry, providing financial assistance, education, and mentorship. Additionally, in 2019, he established an annual scholarship fund for recording industry students attending a Middle Tennessee university.

Throughout his career, Tim has received numerous awards, including Nashville Business Journal's Best in Business Winner, Small Business of the Year, and 40 Under 40, among others.

Despite his demanding work, Tim enjoys hobbies like sailing, painting, woodworking, reading, and traveling, which help him maintain a healthy work-life balance. He has sailed over 3,000 nautical miles across 13 countries and hundreds of islands, while also visiting 37 other countries across five continents.

 

Music remains a significant part of Tim's life, having played various instruments in his youth and now taking piano lessons. His entrepreneurial journey has allowed him to balance work, leisure, and his passion for music, reading, traveling, and mentoring. Tim remains committed to giving back to the industry and supporting charitable organizations in and around Nashville.
