Associate Media Buyer
About You:
The Associate Media Buyer is responsible for research, management, implementation, workflow, strategic support, ideation support, tracking, planning, and reporting of advertising campaigns across various platforms, outlets, client industries, budget levels, and mediums including traditional outlets like radio and television as well as digital outlets including search engines, ecommerce, and social media marketing platforms.
You’ll report to the Director Of Advertising and work in conjunction with other members of the agency’s paid media and strategy disciplines.

About the Position:
The Associate Media Buyer is tasked with supporting the day-to-day management of advertising activities of assigned accounts, supporting the management of day-to-day client interaction, participating in team and client status calls, organizing and maintaining customer relationship management and listening tools, developing efficiencies for media partner communication, providing media and advertising updates, reporting, and own the overall status of campaigns while helping to manage client expectations.
We are seeking an assistant to the Director Of Advertising first and foremost, who is incredibly organized, thinks critically, problem-solves, and is ready to develop skill sets to make them invaluable to the team. They should be driven and desire to learn all aspects of media purchasing and advertising including digital marketing, digital and traditional advertising, project management, reporting, as well as negotiation skills, customer service, deck and RFP development, and other new media outlets as they arise.
They should love ideating, creating and reviewing strategy, implementation, and performance as well as identifying new opportunities for success based on data.
What You’ll Do:

Develop a deep and comprehensive understanding of Clients’ businesses and their presence, across multiple industries and accounts.

Assist in meeting client business objectives via execution of ad delivery.

Eventually assist in meeting client business objectives via execution of ad delivery primarily across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital platforms.

Maintain pulse and deep understanding of audience buying tactics & bidding strategies for paid campaigns across event markets.

Assist primary parties responsible for communication of all campaign components prior to launch (working closely with internal account & creative teams) as well as your direct supervisors.

Analyze & recommend campaign adjustments based on performance trends and KPIs.

Assist in developing flighting of ad messaging & tactical execution across various media platforms, per recommendations in approved communications plans or media plans.

Assist in authoring campaign reports on paid media activity, including analysis of results as well as suggested changes moving forward.

Assist in communicating campaign successes, failures, and optimizations for future campaigns to both internal team and client.

Track and reconcile paid media flighting, budgets, and expenses by channel, market, station, and platform.

Proactively self-educate regarding new digital media opportunities (targeting, features, trends) and channels to improve Clients’ businesses.

Actively contribute to overall account strategy, including analyzing performance against KPIs, new tactics, and tracking industry developments.

Contribute to development of agency level or client-level POVs relating to industry happenings in the paid media space.

Participate in agency-level professional development trainings, and all trainings related specifically to paid media or digital media.

Assist in streamlining processes around media buying and customer management / communication.

Assist in strategy, planning, negotiating, buying, management, and monitoring across paid digital and traditional channels
The Ideal Candidate Has:

2-3 years of assistant experience in strategic partnerships, traditional or digital media buying; prior experience in an agency setting is strongly preferred but entrepreneurial street cred and/or BA/BS degree could work. .
